Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must reside in India permanently.
- PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 is open to EWS, LIG, and MIG households living in urban areas without a pucca home.
- A beneficiary will only be taken into consideration after other qualified families if their parents were recipients of a pucca house from previous programs.
- Widows, single women, people with disabilities, elderly people, transgender people, SC/ST people, minorities, and other vulnerable groups—such as street sellers and construction workers will be given priority.
