Delhi Jeevan Raksha Yojana

Delhi Jeevan Raksha Yojana was announced by the Congress party ahead of the Delhi assembly election to provide Health insurance to the people of Delhi. Under this scheme, INR 25 lakhs of Health insurance will be provided to the people of the capital so that they can continue their medical treatment free of cost. This was included in the party’s manifesto with the former Rajasthan chief minister. This scheme is similar to Chiranjeevi Yojana which will cover health benefits to all. 10 Yojana will be on priority if they win the elections. This scheme offers health coverage with no mandatory conditions or restrictions per family of the capital city.

The primary objective of Jeevan Raksha Yojana is to provide health coverage of up to INR 25 lakhs to all Delhi residents.
